ok, is there anyone out there who knows why there are some 67 Shelbys with a big drain plug on the rear end housing and some without. Which way is it suppose to be? It doesn't seem to matter if its a 350 or a 500. The majority of the cars i see have drainplugs. Whats the deal?

The one without the drain plug has the tapered axle housings. I was under the impression that those were only used in 65-66. Maybe some leftovers found their way into early 67's? Just a theory.

67s should have the fill plug in the housing.

i see the majority of 67's with the plug and handful of late shelbys without. All the 68 Shelby pics I have viewed show rear ends without the plug.
