Very nice. Got to meet alot kewl folks and saw alot of kewl kars. On Sunday, it was a sea of cars in the parking lot for the car show. Here is a sampling: 1. 65 R Code 2. 6 Boss 9s. 1 S Motor with 800 miles! 3. 3 GT 500 69/70 Converts(my favorite) 4. Alot of beautiful 67s. Even 1 hidden in a trailer with original paint! 5. Several KRs. 6. Almost a dozen new Shelby's. 7. 1 Thunderbolt 427! Overall, very well organized and alot of fun. The drag races on Saturday were a blast. Ford was there with a heavy presence too. Carroll was supposed to make an appearance, but never did to my knowledge. I highly recommend it next year.
did you check out the display in the lobby? The restored motors the immaculate restorations? how about the ford gt the FOMOCO driver stuck in the tire wall?{very light scuff but still nice to see they are mere mortals}win any door prizes?set of goodyears;kicker stereo stuff? get a ride with a vintage racer at hallet? we thank all that participate and can't wait until next year;this time i expect to see lots of new 500s on the track. steele
