I had also heard something about NJ, but I don't think that track is anywhere near ready.

At SAAC-31, Kopec said that they had wanted SAAC-32 to be at the new NJ track...and they waited until the last minute to verify that it would not be done for 2007...so the fall-back was Utah.

He said they really wanted an East Coast year, and that if the track was done for 2008, that would be a lock.

Traditionally, they announce the next year's venue at the Saturday dinner.

I was at VIR this weekend for the 50th anniversary. The event coordinator said the track in New Jersey was behind schedule and he believed it likely that SAAC would be back to VIR next year.
