thanks do you have anymore? and was that 05 behind the Ford GT a Bullitt theme? It looks like it is a forest green.
I really didn't take too many picture. More video. Yes that was the Bullitt Mustang next to the GT. Unfortuantely I didn't take a picture. I was too busy checking out the GT500
whoah hang on a second here...was it badged and being called "Bullitt" by Ford or were they just painting it forest green. Videos would be greatly appreciated to. Thank you again.
No surprize Carroll was there. Last year at SAAC 29 (Michigan Intl Speedway) he was trolling around in the pits looking at the cars in a blue Ford Lighnin' p'up. Wearing a black cowboy hat.
It wasn't badged as a Bullitt. I know. That was one of the first things I looked for. It was just the color and wheels
The day of the pic he had just finished about 2 hours of autographs and I could tell he wanted to get out of there so I didn't bug him any more than the pic. The next day I stopped by when he was not doing autographs. I tired to ask him about it but he said it was almost 40 years ago and hard to remember all the cars. I tried to explain that this was a car he drove and he said lots of people come to him with cars that he supposedly drove. I don't think he figured out what car it was. I can't say I blame him because there must be a million others asking him questions all the time and it must get old. Maybe if I had told him some of the offers I have had it would have gotten his attention. Randy Leffingwell is doing a book on Shelbys and is supposed to interview Carroll and ask him about the Super Snake so maybe then he will have his thinking cap on and be more focused on the subject.
Charley: I see your from TX, I remenber going to a show in Waco some time ago and seeing a Super Snake, how long have you had it?
