    You need a copy of the SAAC World Registry 1968-1970 Shelby available from most Mustang supply vendors or from Shelby American Auto Club (SAAC). You should register ownership info with the 1970 registrar as well. There are numerous books that detail how your Shelby should look. Before you start any work, do as much research as possible and also go to special Shelby club events (unfortunately, most of the major ones have passed over this summer). MCA, SAAC and Team Shelby have great national events where you can look at cars and talk with owners and restoration shop owners. This is not your average Mustang type of restoration.
