Scratch the last post. I miss keyed. I should have said that I recently acquired 6S619, not 6S169. Sorry for the confusion.

    I do.

1965 GT-350 #293, matching vin #'s for engine and frame, corresponding to Shelby vin#.
Just found it in a garage in East LA.
It's in the Shelby registry, mostly original, has been parked for ? Years, and was dirty, with spider webs and grease all under the car.

I'm jacked, if you can't tell, and look forward to cleaning it back into the beauty that it is.

Not for sale, please don't even ask ;)

    Mike

Does anyone know if the original jacks for the 66' GT350's are date coded? Any input on this would be great.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

I'll check my original jack for numbers, never looked at it, so I'm not sure if they do

That would be great. I don't think that they are but it would be nice to know for sure. I really appreciate your effort.

I looked all over the jack and can not find any kind of date codes, only the letter "A' on one piece, but I've seen that on others

Thank you so very much for looking at that. I bought a jack from a guy in Oklahoma that actually works. I have to restore it, but now I know for sure that I can use it. Happy days.

#2291 - Original Canadian BC car (1 of only 2) imported west of Ontario (no 65s) and (I believe) 1 of only 21 imported into Canada in 1966. It's still here and I'm the 5th owner (caretaker). Have all the original documentation and paperwork right down to the warranty (owner's) card and Shelby delivery slip.

Interesting enough, I have a photo of the 4 cars that came off Shelby's trailer: 2 Shelby GT-350s (including mine), 1 black Trans Am race car coupe, and 1 427 Fairlane Thunderbolt Drag Car - wow!

Reunited with its original motor in 2004 after finding it in a barn and rebuilding it to modern specs (couldn't put it back to standard although she's still has her original crank). She's full roller putting out 406hp with racing headers. When I put the original Tri-Ys back on I lost 6 hp. :( Oh well. The numbers still match again.
