Ever wish you could go to an event where there's a lot of racing's "Old Guard" and heard lots of good stories. There's one coming up. At a new museum
in Riverside that commemorates the great days of the Riverside Raceway,.
The Riverside International Automotive museum will host their annual Legends of Riverside Racing Film Festival and Gala, March 31 - April 1, 2012, plus a cocktail reception on Friday evening, March 30th for all ticket holders. Bobby Unser is the Honoree of the event and will be on hand. He won the Indianapolis 500 three times and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb 13 times in a variety of cars. He was the first driver to average more than 190 miles per hour at the Indy 500. Bobby was USAC Indy Car Champion in 1968,1974 and the 1975 IROC Champion. His honors include induction into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1990, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 1994. Along with Bobby, past honorees Dan Gurney, Carroll Shelby and Parnelli Jones will attend.
