Any recommendations on what a good set-up would be for a 700 CFM Holley 4150 (#0-4778C w/mechanical secondaries)? Jets, accelerator pumps, etc... It's on a 302 crate motor (roller cam) with Ford Racing aluminum heads and a mallory magnetic distributor with an MSD box. The car is running the original cast iron manifolds and a Shelby intake, manual tranny. Currently running the thing right out of the box, runs well, but it could be better? Thanks gents.
No offense, but the carb is far too big for your crate engine, even if it is a 347 stroker.. You will not be able to tune it to your motor, not even with the use of a chassis dyno. Replace it with a 600cfm DP Bill S.
