hipo 289 pushrods

    Have a bent pushrod on my 67gt 350.wanted to know if the hipo pushrod is different than a regular 289 2bbl push rod? mike

    As far as I know, they're the same. Be sure to take one with you when you replace to ensure buying the correct ones. I bought my 67 GT350 in 1995, for 5 years, I was forever having to re-tighten the rocker arms, until I finally bent one. Bought a set at NAPA, and they were longer than what was in the motor, but NAPA insisted they were correct. Figured out the prior owner installed the wrong ones, too short, so I wasn't getting enough bite on the rocker arm nuts. They were correct, haven't had to adjust the rocker arms since! :thumbsup:
