Has anybody ever seen paperwork for Shelby ordering two Ghia bodied 427 Cobras?

I am a fan of Italian coachbuilders. I knew of the 427 Cobra retrofitted with a '53 Ghia Supersonic (originally for a Fiat) body but that wasn't the body originally on the car. Later I found pictures of a Ghia bodied 427 Cobra, a more modern style roadster with a lift off hardtop, but taillights as big as pizzas! I know that DeTomaso and Shelby were buddies back then but did DeTomaso, who was buying Ghia, have Ghia build them on spec for Shelby or did Shelby order them hoping to sell Ford on Ghia-bodied Cobras? I suspect Shelby ordered them (there were either two with different headlights or one car redesigned in the headlights) They were not CSX3000 range.

I also wonder if this design was used for the 450/SS run of Chrysler engined Ghia bodied roadsters with hardtops ordered by Burt Sugarman but those had a different chassis and this Cobra chassied one looks designed for those wheels and tires.

The irony is that 3 or 4 years later Ford went shopping in Europe for an Italian bodied car and after considering the Ghia-designed Mangusta rejected it and ordered the Ghia desifgned Pantera (actually built by Vignale, also owned by DeTomaso). So the question is where are these two cars today or have the bodies long since been tossed away and replaced by 427- Cobra bodywork?
