Engine stamping question (possibly Jeff Speegle can answer)?

Discussion in 'Shelby Mustang List' started by Shelby6t7@aol.com, Apr 23, 2006.

  1. While starting to detail my original engine, among the many typical stampings
and castings, I found this number (attached) stamped on the back, any ideas
    what it might represent?

  2. Jeff Speegle

My quick (not know all the specifics of the engine ) guess would be a rebuilder's identification stamp

  3. Its the Devils mark 666 upside down! The 22 is actually 77 upside down meaning 7th month 7th day before the coming of Christ! (smile)
