Color of Pinch Weld on 65 Shelby

    Was the pinch weld on a 65 Shelby painted black. On a late car is the under side of hood black or white.

    Pinch weld should be blacked out like any mustang. Semi-gloss gloss black (with a soft edge) from the front wheelwell to the rear valance. Painted before the front fender was installed. Overspray traveled to any panel that hung down and along the surface of the floor a good 1-2" typically

    As for the bottom of the hood I would choose semi-gloss to flatter black with again soft edge - body color over the black
