SAAC 37 at Watkins Glen June 7-9, 2012

SAAC-37 will be held at WATKINS GLEN on June 7-9, 2012.

The last SAAC event at Watkins Glen, a historic facility in the heart of the New York Finger Lakes area, was in 1993 (SAAC-18).

SAAC has teamed up with the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) to combine the event with their Historic Enduro weekend, creating a private 4-day weekend of exciting racing with full access to the complete track and facilities.

I would like to, but it's not an easy location for me to get to. So, undecided....

Too far. Have done the SAAC NE Regional the past two years towing up from Atlanta and that's a 13+ hour drive as it is without throwing in the extra mileage to WG. Too bad SAAC wouldn't get enough kickback $$$$ to try Road Atlanta for a convention.....

If Road Atlanta would match pricing and have dates open that worked for the convention, SAAC would come. As I understand it, with the tracks penchant for actually making money these days, attempting to schedule the time, especially over a weekend, is near impossible these days.

Six of us at least coming from Hawaii. Two cars driving from the West Coast, a Series 8000 Cobra and a Shelby GT. Both have Hawaii plates, so no fooling! And you guys complain of going a few hundred miles to have a blast. Shame!
