I don't see a suspension forum here so this seemed the next best place to post ;) I did the upper control arm relocation and wedge kit installation on my '64 falcon, and the alignment shop could not get the proper camber set. After removing all the shims, the control arms still needed to be moved inboard about 1/16 in. on each side. He said in the eearly days the control arms were modified in this situation, but a reputable local frame shop that looked at the car said the best solution is to move the pivot point of the lower control arms outward so the upper arms can be properly shimmed.

They are now almost touching the backside of the shock tower ( not at the caps or zerk fittings) where the arm flange wraps around the back of the hex caps. I am concerned that changing location of the lower arms will cause bump steer- what's the best resolution to my problem?

'64 falcon - it's not a shelby, but I want it to handle like one :D
