there are actually several others besides that one...I know they are in colin comers book and they may have been posted on the saac forums at one point....b.t.w.the assembly line was DISTINCTLY low tech.....Trent
Hi to Randy, and all. To date I have only seen about 6 in total, and this one and the one in the C.C. book are seen most frequently. The other good ones are in the Swedish magazine article that Texas Swede has copies of.Most of the others show the cars parked outside in a herring bone pattern, waiting to be converted,or completed and waiting to be shipped. One thing certain, they are much more scarce....compared to ANY other year.If you could say you were looking for something in particular....maybe we could track it down some how as these seem to still elude us.After all these years. No response to the question on when the picture was taken of a 67 with Mr. Shelby standing with the drivers door open in the S.A.Guide page #3....I am very curious about the front fender emblems on this car,as they are centered between the front fender and door-not at all like a "production"car. One other detail that appears consistient....all cars have inboard headlamps, and any that have been dated are all in the 1967 calander year. It would be great to have some folks comment here, all of us really like photos from the beginning/exact time frame when the cars were new. P.D.
I have seen the swedish mag pics... I would like to know if any more production line, or parking lot pics exist... Only seen a few over the years..
So where can a person make a copy of the assembly line picture from? That is all I was trying to find out. Thanks Randy
