'66 Radio Delete Plate Painted or Not for Black Interiors?

    Were the '66 radio delete plates painted on the black interiors or just left as black plastic?

    All the originals I've seen were not black plastic so they would have been painted. Were there black originals? I know there is a black repop 65 delete plate, not sure if the 66 is repopped.

    Anyone have pics of the '65 and '66 radio delete plates to see the differences?
