What a deal, at the last swap meet I went to a guy had that same tapered axle tube rear end and was asking $1000.00 for it.

I have 17 x 8 with 4.7 backspacing rims on my 66 fastback. (Not 454's) Also my tires are BF Goodrich Comp TA's that are 245/45-17's all the way...

I guess MK did not stand for Union City til 1971. In the sixties (pre DOT)Union City was represented by a 4. I don't know what M was that year.

I think you are right about the "9th week of 67" thing. Also the MK means that the tire was made in Union City, Tennesse.
