When they put the 289 in the car did they put all the v8 drive line and supension in the 6 cylinder car. I f not then you would have to up grade...

Bob After they cut off the rebound brackets they relocated them and weld them back on. That is how my 65 is . Mike
Re: Fuel pump working or not? I use propane to find vac leaks . Buy small cylinder at Ace then i put a hose on it and you can pinpoint the leak.
In 76 my friend owend the 67 EXP GT500 , It looked like a 68 Shelby and none of side marker lights worked because it had no harnes to plug them...
My 68 GT 500 did the same thing had to run octane boster. The PI heads have small valves and the CC of the combustion chamber changes the comp ratio.
