Pebble Beach to have 427 Cobra class, six in all....

Here is their description" One of the most intimidating cars of its era, the Shelby Cobra 427, marks its 60th anniversary this year. Named for the 427-cubic-inch Ford engine that powered it to dominate SCCA racing and set a performance benchmark that stood for years, the “big block Cobra” earned iconic status from the day it was introduced. To celebrate this anniversary, a Shelby Cobra class will take to the show field at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, honoring the model’s legacy of speed, design and evolutionary performance. Four versions of the 427 Cobra were produced, each delivering uncompromising performance: “Comp” (competition), S/C (semi-competition), Street and Narrow Hip. Each version will be showcased on the Concours lawn, in addition to the first and last production Cobras, providing a rare presentation of Cobra lineage."

I hope one is the Super Snake! I plan to be in Monterey tho didn't get a ticket to Pebble Beach yet (over $500). Fine artist has several 11" x 17" prints on heavy art paper of Cobras, both small block and big blocks (Pebble Beach will have a class for 427 big-block Cobras at the Concours) If you are a Shelby fan or a gallery selling art, it's worth looking at these at $560 ea.
