I have a 1968 Shelby GT500 and am in the process of replacing my Midland brake booster. I sent my Midland it to have it replaced with another Midland. The color of this Midland is gloss black and the one that I took off I believe was dark gray in color. I believe my brake booster was original to my car and had original stamp from the factory IF it matters my car is an earlier SN car. Wasn't sure if the color of the make of the brake booster might have changed With that said, could someone please send me feedback for the correct color to paint my brake booster. I didn't see anything regarding the color of the brake booster on this forum what I could tell any help would be greatly be appreciated thanks brian-
The midland power boosters were painted as a assembly with the master cylinder bolted on . The entire assembly including master ,cap and bail wire were painted a semi gloss black all at the same time. After painting a silver with red printing sticker was applied to the lid .
