electric fans

    My 89 Shelby Dakota cooling fans are NOT turning on with the temp or turning on the AC. :grrr:

    I jumped the wires and manually they come on fine, so it sounds like a switch somewhere?

    ANY IDEAS?! :wacko:

    This post is old, but, I'll answer it anyway.

    The electric fan on a 1989 Shelby Dakota is controlled by the computer.

    I knew someone locally that had a Shelby Dakota. Same thing happened on his Dakota. He had the computer turned in somewhere and had it rebuilt. Sorry I don't know where it was rebuilt at.
