    Greetings, Can anyone tell me if the GT 350 badge on the rear of a '66 is painted or plated. I'd appreciate any info. Thank you!

    It depends. In the beginning they were bare pewter (brushed) . Anyway SA started getting complaints of oxidation so they started painting them silver to eliminate the oxidation it seems. I suppose some of the earlier brushed ones could find their way onto a later car that would typically see a painted one. I hope this helps. Bob

    Thank you for the information, Bob. Silver paint it is for #1984.
