Car is up and running! - 1966 GT350

    Hello all,

    Well, I have to say that I have not been on the ball for quite some time. Awhile back I posted about working on my car and said I would post when I got her up and running. Better late than never like the saying goes. Anyhow, she has been up and running now, with some minor glitches, for a little over a year. I have posted some pictures of some of the short day trips I have taken with her. At one point I ran across several French travelers that were driving their original Mini-Coopers down Route 66. They were all over the car taking pictures. :D Only a couple spoke broken English and they asked several questions. They even took video of the car so they could hear the sound of the exhaust.:thumbsup:

    That is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL car!!! And it must be a blast to drive. Thanks for posting the pictures.

    Thanks Steve :dance: It is quite fun to drive for sure. I drive it as much as I can. I can hardly stand leaving it in the garage on nice days. I am fortunate to live in an area known for tourism because of the many sights to see.

    curious..... your car has the Talbot mirror..not Rotunda racing as many 66 cars received... not sure if your car is a early build or late but I was just curious if it came that way ...or it was a preference?

    Steve,

    The mirror is what was on the car when my dad and I bought it almost 21 years ago. I just left it and have not replaced it with the racing mirror. It is not so much that I prefer it over the other mirror, it's just that it's a good mirror so I thought why change it? :D
