    30 years ago I had an accident with my Shelby Hertz nu:1264.It was black with gold stripes.I lost all papers and data plate,I would like to know the VIN number of the body 6R09KXXXXXX.If somebody can help me.Thanks

    That number is sacred and protected. I don't think those who have the access to that number will give it to you. Any info you have on the car should to forwarded to the 66 Hertz registrar Greg Kolasa. 66hertzregistrar@saac.com

    Unless you still have the original engine or trans with the VIN stamped into it you are out of luck. The SAAC registrar typically will not give out the VIN regardless scenario. Bob
