I am going to enjoy her stock for a while, while I do some research on mods. i guess the best first mod would be the stop the hop kit?? or an upgraded heat exchanger? But yes I do plan and modding her just a little:thumbup:

Sa-When, i saw your posts on the svtperf. forum, imho, i love the look of the 2010+ body styles but yes the 2011 is better with the lighter motor and the svtpp as the option but you still got a great car. my tuner told me to wait till the 2011's came out but for the price i got mine for, i couldnt pass it up. have you been looking into tuners around your way?

Haven't done any looking yet..just enjoying the car and getting used to first gear being useless..LOL..but I got a great deal on the car and couldn't pass it up..a 2010 GT500 with less then 1400 miles with Nav..under 40k..I was shocked..and I jumped on it..and I dont regret it one bit..love everything about the car..Mods will come soon enough..Let me know what you find out..I here Jon Lund in the man..if I spelled that right..might check him out when the time comes..Take care and thanks

well i got a tuner here in NJ. my friend with a 04 cobra introduced me to him and his car is getting all modded up by him. but yea there's a few great tuners out there. and those goodyear f1 super cars are garbage, especially in cold weather. they tend to hook a little better in the summer but still garbage. im just waiting till the tread wears out on mine and i have a few DR's i wanna try out.

I agree in cold weather they suck..Let us know how the DRs do..at some point when the boost goes up I will need to get me a set as well. Still doing homework into pulley size..tuner ..exhaust..suspension parts..I had 3 of the cobras and they responed well to mods. Hope the Shelby does too. Take care man.Keep me posted on info with the DRs you choose.

if its any help, i have a sct x cal3 tuned by wicked, 2.6 pulley, jlt cai tube and filter, and the dude i bought it from already had the KR mufflers installed. alot of the forums and tuners prefer the sct tuners. the KR mufflers sounds great but i want the full 3", so im thinking of going with bassani's full exhausts. expensive as hell, but my tuner recommends it. there are other great stainless exhaust out there for cheaper like kooks, but like i said, im still thinking about it. as far as DR's go, its gonna take a lil bit, cuz next project is heat exchanger so i dont have to worry about heat soak. ill keep you posted.

I had the full Bassani exhaust on my 04,,by far the best sounding exhaust i have heard..worth the money in my opinion..Sorry but I have to ask how does the car feel with the 2.6 pulley and JLT stuff..and you got any numbers on the car? before and after? Your car sounds like its a beast already..and with a full Bassani exhaust it will sound geart.

when i bought her from a guy in arkansas, he already had the JLT carbon fiber intake tube, KR mufflers and the sct tune. he didnt give me the dyno #'s. when i took it to my tuner for the pulley, he said the tune that was on there was more aggressive. so he tuned it to be less aggressive and still picked 20+ rwhp and 30-40rwtq on 93 tune and an after market air filter. i got a lil but over 500 to the tires on mustang dyno. and i thought the tires were garbage before.....HA! thanks for the info on the bassani's, ive been looking at youtube for sounds clips of exhausts, but just not the same. i figure the pulley will hold me over for now till i go with the 3.6 kenne.

so you are putting down around 525rwhp..Thats cool..Yea my 04 with the Bassani LTs catted X-pipe and catback sounded very nice..everyone always commented on the sound..One of the best sounding cars I have ever had by far. I will go that route on my Shelby one day.
last car I had on a Mustang Dyno was my 03 it put down 495rwhp and 468rwtq.. left there drove 30 miles and waited 3 hours strapped it down on a dynojet and put down 525rwhp 481rwtq..now they say the Mustang dyno is more real world,I dont know who they are and I fully understand that a dyno is just a tool real proff is in the pudding as they say..But the track veries just as much,,air temp..head wind..track prep list could go on and on..sorry i am rambling..take care and enjoy that beast you have..going to get some sleep so I can get up and enjoy mine before I go back to work..

the difference between the mustang dyno and others is that the others, your car is just spinning the drum. which weighs about 1500lbs, give or take. the mustang dyno has magnets that work the same a brakes so it simulates another 1500 or so lbs. so in real world a car weighs from 3000lbs - 4000lbs and the mustang dyno can simulate that weight. and its about a 50rwhp difference between the two dyno's. when the 2010gt5's came out, they dyno'd it at 510rwhp on dyno jet. on mustang dyno it was 450-460rwhp. but yea dyno sheets dont win races.

LOL...I think that driving would constitute a productive "in use" designation and there for would not be harmful...the static "non productive" erection would be the harmful type...open to the 4 hr time limit..
