how do you seal the tailight panel on a 67

    can anybody with a 67 tell me what is supposed to keep water from coming into the trunk from around the gas cap ? there is about a 1/4 inch space that i can see daylight from inside the trunk?

    I'd suggest you run a 'search". The usual beef is exhaust fumes getting in. I've worn out two keyboards describing this situation....every month.

    HMMMMMMM . I didn't remember it was you that had that issue before. Logically it should be the same as the tailpanel is the basic same surface. This is a excellent opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.While you are changing out the tailpanel you can better seal the drafts you have while making the change. You can think of it as taking a lemon and making lemonade! The best of luck with your upcoming needed change. No pressure :lol:.
