Does anyone have a build sheet they would share for a 67 automatic 500 or know the correct stripe colors for the drive shaft?
Shelbys didn't typically come with build sheets and if they did the driveline colors are not shown on them prior to 68. That being said - I believe the colors were red, white, blue
Even the 68 500s are identified by part # on build sheets. It wasn't till the KRs that colors appeared. ps: I agree with Jeff on colors
Thank you guys for the info. I am close to posting finishing pics. I have put over 50 miles on it a nothing has fallen off, leaked or overheated!!! I am now cleaning and putting labels and markings. Thanks again chris
The drive shaft colors on my 67 GT500 4 speed Jan build are pink and white, with 3 thin red stripes further towards the end. Can't guess where that came from! Any guess as to what the colors should be?
Might want to cut through the surface that may have been effected/changed by the elements Typically we find Light blue, dark blue and pink on that application Two white or two red thinner lines have been found towards the front end of the tube Just what has been found on a number of others Hope this helps
Thanks, Here's a couple pics of what I have. I sanded through to see what the colors are. Oddly the middle stripe, if you can call it that, was only a partial stripe. You can see the three thin red stripes are at the rear of the tube! There is a small yellow daub at the front. It has these markings: C3AA B 2-14
