    Hello,

Just making my intro post to get started in your forum. I've enjoyed reading the informative posts so far, and look forward to reading some more to learn about the Shelby line.

This is all new to me, as I'm a convert from the "Dark Side" (GM/Chevy). I must say, I'm very impressed with our new GT500. Looking forward to a lot of fun with this car.

    Hello shelby101,

So far I only have one pic loaded on my system, but for some reason it won't upload. I'll need to check all the site rules to see if I'm missing something, as it's a JPEG format and only a few kb in size.

Other info: It's blue (not sure about the actual Ford designation, but it's a dark blue) with black leather. I purchased it through Car Max from Texas, and It had 7500 miles on it. It's in excellent condition. As far as I know it's all stock. I say "as far as I know" because I test drove a 2009 a couple weeks back and the 2007 seems noticably more powerful. Don't get me wrong the 2009 had some serious power, but when you stomp the gas in this one it just really seems to have an edge on power (which is a good thing). Is there a way to tell if someone has made pulley changes or computer upgrades? The air box is stock, no CAI.

I'll check into loading some pics.

    Thanks for the inquiry!

Welcome, one upgrade that may have been done to improve power that you could not see just by looking under the hood is an aftermarket tune. Most aftermarket tunes have much more responsive throttle action and some power increase.
