    Mid-America 31
    June 9-12, 2005 - Tulsa, OK

Mid-America has evolved into many things - - a celebration, a reunion, a convention, a vacation, but most of all a great family event. Come in early or stay late to enjoy your very own Route 66 cruise.

Excitement is building, but if you need just one more reason to be in Tulsa.... how does the 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500 sound? We also hope to have a visit from the man himself. C-Cars TV, a regional special interest automotive program will be taping a show.

The dates for Mid-America 31 are June 9-12, 2005. Our headquarters will be the Tulsa Marriott Southern Hills, located just south of I-44 at the Lewis exit. Alternative accommodations at the Tulsa Hilton Southern Hills, just down the street. The hotels are near major shopping areas, museums, restaurants, parks, the Oklahoma Aquarium, and other entertainments including the famous Leake Collector Car Aution.

Wednesday we open the event in the afternoon as a relaxed, get ready to go day. That's, because we start really early Thursday. This day gives you the opportunity to pick up your registration materials and credentials, and enter you can in the popular car show ahead of the rush.

Thursday the Ford Mustang Open Track starts at a fast pace at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. You can have fun on the track or as a spectator. Another chance to enjoy our cars will be a car cruise leaving from the Marriott in the evening, touring through a scenic part of Tulsa, ending with a cruise-in where you can grab a burger at the Sonic, or listen to the Oldies at Weber’s with a frosty mug of their own famous root beer. Be sure to visit the Brookside district eateries, especially Java Dave's Creamery for truly excellent ice cream.

Friday the Ford Mustang Open Track continues with the return of the speed-controlled track tour, an opportunity to drive your car on the track; just not a speed. Sessions for regular open track continue. We will be having two exhibitions:Vintage and Latemodel. Following the day at Hallett, evening activities at the Marriott will include an informal reception, special car display, roundtable seminars, art & literature display.

Saturday is Goodyear Eagle Day at Tulsa Raceway Park, featuring E/T bracket style racing, a Powder Puff and shootout for FE powered cars. We will have day three of Open Track at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. In the evening, you will want to attend our outstanding banquet & program, which includes a sit-down style dinner, entertainment & door prizes, as well as interesting speakers from the world of Ford.

Sunday concludes the fun-filled weekend with the Mid-America All Ford Super Show sponsored by Classic Designs Concepts Inc. The popular ballot show is located in the hotel’s southwest parking lot. You will find classes for this year provide excellent representation and generous awards. In addition, a SAAC-level concours will be available for Shelby Mustangs and Boss Mustangs. We also welcome “display only” cars.

A stunning line-up of programs, racing, and entertainment await you! From SVT Cobras to Shelby Cobras, Fairlanes, Galaxies, and Panteras -- all types of Ford Performance will be represented. Come join us for the sights and sounds of our favorite cars in action. Please make your room reservations directly with the hotel.
