Doug_GT350 Could I ask you to forward the excel spreadsheet from Shelby to my PM? Thank you. I got the opportunity to drive a 2005 Mustang GT with the complete Vortech supercharger package the other night, and I must say that I was very impressed. If Shelby would modify a new Shelby GT, or maybe even better, a low mileage GT-H as I like the body on this car even better, to me that would be a great alternative to the GT500, which looks I´m not quite happy about. Well, if you go the route of donating the 15 grand over sticker , then like you say, giving it to Shelby would be a better deal for you. I don't know what kind of a return you would get for donating to his charitable cause, but it's better than the dealer would have given you . I M O I would not give one penny over sticker , no matter how many gold bricks came with it. ----S.
I just bought my '08 vert for MSRP. Patience is a virtue. That, and surfing eBay at least once a week.
I have been told that Tasca Ford has been chosen as the east cost mod shop. My SGT is currently at SAI in LV, but because they are so busy and because Tasca can do other mods as well as dyno my car after the SC mod, my car will now go to Tasca instead. They will also be installing a panhard setup as well as some other stuff. As part of the package, the car will recieve Tasca Ford badging and serialized engine plagues.
Hummm....now we're getting close to home! That's only a 6 hour ride for me! I gotta start saving the pennies again! I just might go with the Paxton.
