Anyone interested in putting together a listing of all the D.S.O. sheets that have been located?

    I'm aware of the following:
    84-2549 1-7-67 400F Pkg 229 units
    84-2555 1-11-67 402F Pkg 206 units

Snakepit, I know you have a bunch, could you add to the list? Anyone else? Thanks.

I have 84-2549 and I think I saw 84-2608 listed on a web site with a very late car. (last 200) I will try to find it again.

    Guys,
D.S.O. 84-2555 represents 106 units (cars) and not
    206 as stated above.

I believe "84" is a code for a special order (ie Shelby) and the four digit number that follows is a batch number. This is very similar to the 68s, however, they use "8D". Cars built on similar DSO (or SPO) codes share similar features.

Great work guys! if the tally is accurate so far 493 G.T.500 cars are accounted for.out of 2048 produced that is almost 1/4 of the production window!! now where are any/all the G.T. 350 stats?

"84" represents the district or division were the order originated

The following numbers just identify the group and related specifications as batches vary, as posted above, in the way the group was to be built.

Works the same way on any special order car (taxis, PD cars, school buses....). Typically the number was in the top right hand quarter of the specification sheet/order form.

    Guys,

I've been on vacation for the last few days and my Internet access is very limited. I've started and Excel spreadsheet on this information and am attempting to bring all the information together. I've posted it below (in Word format). Let me know how you want the data broken down and I'll do my best to accommodate all requests. At first glance it also shows how groups of cars were built with the same options, which would have made sense for ford to do.

I'd eventually like to get copies of all these sheets and make them available to anyone who might be interested, kind of like a free archive. I'd appreciate any scans anyone could send me.

By the way, I think 84-2608 might correlate to my car and I'd be very interested in seeing a copy of it. The D.S.O. number from my Warranty Plate (thank to my Marti Report) is 892608. The other mysterious number on my Shelby production order is 2963 and matches with another group of number on the Marti Report. I'd like to know what that one means as well.

Thanks for everyones help so far.

    Guys,

I'll be posting the information we've gathered to date on my website. It may take a few days as I'm still on vacation with limited Internet access. I'd like to populate the table with any missing information. I'll have a form up to make entering data as easy as possible. Data can also be posted here in this thread or emailed to me in a PM. I'm asking anyone who has copies of these sheets send me this information. Scans of the first page is the most important, but any of the other pages will be appreciated as well. I'll keep the data as up to date as possible. Thanks to everyone who has already contributed.

    Guys,

Here is what we have so far.

    Snakpit,

I need some clarifications regarding your information:
    1) 84-2528 – XL428 reports the package as 402F(G.T.500, 4-spd, no A/C, w/Thremactor, would you verify that the copy you have lists a 400F package?
    2) 84-2576 – Is this the same order for 33 units as 2574 as reported by Coralsnake? Is this a typo in the order number? Was this order for G.T.350s or G.T.500s?
    3) 84-2602 – Total number of colors adds up to 15 not 13 as stated on 8/4/2007. Which is correct? Or could this be an error on the DSO sheet?
    4) Could you post the schedule dates from your sheets?

    Coralsnake,

Would you post the information from your copy of 84-2574? Thanks.

    XL428,

Thanks for your help. Can you manage a scan of your DSO sheet? Take a look at the spreadsheet and you'll see that I've included a color breakdown.

    All,

I hope to have live information posted at my website sometime on Monday. I've attached a PDF of the spreadsheet of the information to date just to make it available to everyone.

    Roy
Thanks to everyone for your time and help.

schedule date on 84-2528 should be 12-5-66
