Some french Shelby's on the Dijon race track (June 2007)

No many vintage Shelby's in France and you have here about 1/3 of the models known in this country. You can see in the lot a real Hertz, two 67 GT500 & GT350 (the green one, with Paxton !) and an ultra-rare 66 continuation convertible !

      I was stationed in Europe 1965 to 1968, while on leave in Paris in 1967 I was looking for the French Statue of Liberty which was move to another location for restoration and found a Shelby dealership. The showroom was closed for the day but there were 3 to 4 cars for sale.
