Upholstery 69-70 fastback

    Not owning but looking at 69-70 shelby fastbacks.I Have seen many with-out the red insert in the seat back and the carpet. I had always assumed that fast backs made from 69 Mach 1s had this feature and that fastbacks that did not have this feature were cars that were incorret in there resto. I realise that convts were not Mach 1s and did not recieve the red insertes. I would like a responce from an expert like Bob , Pete, Tim Etc. This would settle mine and a friends views Thanks .     Who me? I got nothing.....okay I can tell you my 69 fastback has the red inserts.

    Yes many of the repo interior kits added the red stripe and inserts to the carpet

    Originally it depended (normally) on the interior color. Blacks did, red and white normally didn't looking at original cars
