Another local :) If we spread this around, maybe we can get all of the Shelbys from our area to hang out here online sooner or later.

I have one, its for sale:

This classic 1968 Shelby GT 500 in Acapulco Blue, is registered as number 818 in the Shelby registry. It has 51000 original miles and all numbers match. The car is un-restored but has newer paint, the 428 motor has be professionally blue printed; balancing was completed 1000 miles ago. This GT500 has a rare automatic transmission. The Shelby is one of the most desirable collector cars and this is a fine example of this model, the glove box has been signed by industry legend Carroll Shelby. You will not be disappointed in this prestigious piece of automotive history. The car is in perfect mechanical condition. Car was recently appraised; asking price is $175000 USD. Located near Toronto, Ontario - transportation available.

    Phone number is 705-458-9380

    I have a 68 gt 500 #736, I have owned in since 1978.
The car has been through tough times, and when we finished it in June of 2005 we made a few shows and became a fan favorite.
She went under approximately 8 feet of water in Katrina.
The car was stripped and now dipped, e-coated and now starting the painting and reassembly. I cannot wait to have her back on the streets again. My photos are under gt 500 736 in the photo section.

#2532, I bought it in March of 2006 and took Delivery Saturday 6/30/07 and have given about 30 neighbors rides in it already.

All original car, 1 of 10 AC/Auto Wimbleton White Gt500's made. Just had the engine rebuilt, engine compartment and under body repainted/conditioned.

Great car to cruise in on July 4th.

    69 GT500 #660. Black Jade, build date 1/31/69, 3.50:1 axle, C6.
I'm the third owner, bought it in 1982.
Unrestored and mostly original. Repainted by second owner.
I'm recently retired and am beginning a full restoration.

Congrats on the retirement and good luck with the recreation.
We had a ton of fun driving to the cruise nights when we finished it, heck the wife and kids really got into it also.
Nothing like crusing in a SHELBY.

NIce!!! Mine, seen above, was built feb. 10th. Same color originally, same options I believe as well.

What color interior is yours? Anymore pics? I'm quite interested to see what mine used to look like

Added some pictures. Paint job is by previous owner; can of paint included in purchase shows correct Ditzler number (2037 I think) and "Black Jade". I've never seen an original Black Jade paint job, but on my car it looks a lot like the Olive Drab I saw a lot of in the Army. Interior is original, but some seat seams are coming loose.
