the last ten years? What would be done differently as opposed to just a few yrs ago? Would a car restored in the early 90's need to be re-restored today to be competitive? TIA Ed
We certainly know more than we did 10 years ago so I would say most older cars would have to be upgraded at least.
Depends on what organization but in general the judges and people involved have had ten more years to study and research many more details. Also with the higher usage of the internet specific details are shared over a wider area effecting expectations. If the car was built that the standard and the rules (again depending on the organization) in the early 90's I would say yes. If the car was one of those rare cars that was built beyond those rules it might still do ok but the years of sitting or use will have taken their toll.
