I am trying to take the hinged plate that covers the passenger side air bag off my gt500 to send to the US for C. Shelby's signature. (Xmas present for me from my wife). I took off the glove box and the retention clips on the right side of the airbag plate. They release without problem. However I can not easily remove the clips on the left side without forcing the plate which I am reluctant to do. Does anyone have a blown up schematic or better yet has anyone removed any part of the dash for signature.
    Thank you in advance

BTW. Got the air bag cover out. sent it to CA. got it back with Shelby's signature. It looks great and was only gone for about 3 weeks. Thanx for the advice.

I removed mine last week and sent it to CS for a signature too. I can't wait to get it back!
I saw this in a post on teamshelby.com, it gives you a schematic and step by step instructions on the removal of the air bag. CAUTION! be sure to disconnect the battery as described and wait a period of time for it to discharge before attempting. I waited a couple hours before I started but it may not take that long. If the air bag deploys you could be severely injured.

I had him sign the Dash piece just below the Air Bag but above the Glove Box. That way, just incase the the Bag Blows, I can save the signature.
