Does any one know if the spare tire from a regular 05-07 mustang will fit into the well in a Gt 500 ? I can't believe that a car costing this much comes without a spare tire ! I think that the air compressor is worthless ! What most likley will happen on the open road is a blowout , not a leak. Thanks for any help in advance. Tom

Has anyone thought about changing to run flat tires for their next set of tires? Anyone know of any issues with doing that?

My 06 Ford GT which has a MSRP 3 times as much as the GT500 has the same pitiful system. Some goop to seal a puncture and a small electric compressor. In the Ford GT's case the front trunk space has barely enough room for a loaf of bread let alone a spare tire ,space saver or otherwise.

That means a new set of rims doesn't it? I thought the run flats need a "groove" to seal the beads. Also I don't think you would get the same performance out of them.
