Are you going to do a turbo engine swap?

Yep, engine out of an 86 Shelby Charger. Looking to make it look like it was made that way. A few more HP, but keeping the T1 log intake. CS Seats, A/C, 5 speed.

A very good project. An old DC intercooler kit would look good in there too.

    Keep us updated with photos

There is a local guy with a rampage that has it tubbed with huge tires out back. Although, it is still frontwheel drive, the prostreet look works and it looks awesome coming at you on the street.

    Was the floor rotted?

Is the starting point for your project a DC Rampage? I am curious as to the origins of your user ID.

In responce to your questions. Here's part of the cross brace we took out.

Rareram, just came through my search for a personalized tag. Nothing like rpage or rmpage or 82 page was available. Any Rampage is pretty rare, so I used that. Although someone once came up to me and said that he had never seen a Ram 50 that looked like mine.

    Robert (Rare Ram),

With the amount of effort you're going through with this Rampage, I'm looking forward to seeing this when you're done.

My plan is to make it look like a stock T1 Shelby Rampage with a few minor mods, might use a pistol grip shifter, small things like that. I'm working on adapting power windows from a Daytona and thinking that cruise control would be nice. Pic of course will be provided.

Of course, there was never a "stock" T1 Rampage. The trick is to make the swap look stock when you are finished.

Yikes, that crossmember was in bad shape. I know it is common with L bodies, I have always been fortunate and never experienced it first hand.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I enjoy seeing this work in progress.

    Keep 'em coming!

I see you have done a 5 lug conversion for your wheel hubs.

Just the rears so far, after paint I'll swap in the whole K-member. I was just given a set of rear disks from a Shelby Daytona, so there will be another swap coming.
