Sadly...(I guess it is a bit sad)..but it may be time to start stowing some of the original parts away.

Can anyone recommend a good source for Magnum 500 wheels? Repops that are quite faithful. Who have you bought from?

And..tires. What would be a good choice to keep the car looking stock?

What was considered original and correct for 66 H cars? What would you use for just street driving today?

    Thanks

    Ron,
I sent you a message directly a few days ago, after I saw you were right near me.
Did you try Criag @ Paradise for the rims?
If you got the latest Shelby American, they confirmed that your car is one of the 350 H 4 spd's.

    Hi Mike....

(just saw the PM this a.m.)... Yes...we are close. Let's swap numbers via PM and we'll get together.

    Where is 'Paradise' located? URL?

I saw that article last night as well... I thought the number was in the 90's, but they say 86, including the prototype, had 4-speeds.

    Thanks

Really you have no choice when it comes to buying a tire that will look "original" Sorry

As for wheels I don't believe any one makes (or can legally) good reproduction wheels. If you have original wheels (which also should be dated for your car) have them simply replated
