Help, My 70(build date 3/69) GT500 Auto has had the intake manifold and carb changed. I am trying to put it back to OE condition. The correct manifold has been found and bought, but the carb is another question. What is the correct carb # for this car? Does it have manual or auto choke? Also, what would be a correct date code for the carb on this car?

If anyone has a source for a good rebuildable core or reworked carb I would appreciate that, too.

Carb should be a C9AF N, list 4280. IIRC the 70s were retrofitted with manual chokes. Date code would be anywhere from 1-3 months before build. Holleys were typically produced in batches for specific applications.
