Include multiple photos in each post!

Including images in a post is diffrent than attaching an image to a post. The "attach" feature uploads an image(s) to the end of your post. This is ok, but some of you may want to include many photos in a single post and would like the ability to layout your photos so they make more sense & add captions, etc. The file attachment feature limits the number of images but you can include as many images within a post as youlike. For example, you may want to show the progression of your restoration project.

In order to have multiple pictures you need to use the IMG button on the post page. It requires that you give it the url (http://www.) of the pictures. That means you have to upload your images to the internet (to a server, you may use your own or ShelbyForums.com), then tell the IMG command where it can find your pictures.

All of our members can use ShelbyForums.com's photo sharing/gallery management tool. These tools allow our members to upload their pictures to the server, FREE! Once you are registered with ShelbyForums.com you can upload images in the ShelbyForums Photo Gallery.

Please review this thread about storing your images on ShelbyForums.com.
    Store your photos @ ShelbyForums.com!

Once your images are posted you can link your images to your posts in the forums using the IMG button.

The fastest way to link to images in the ShelbyForums Photo Gallery is to open the photo/image you want to include. The IMG button requires that you provide the full url of the image you want to include. Our software provides the URL for you just below the picture. It is labeled "Direct Link Code:". Just copy the URL (press the "Control" button and the "C" button at the same time (Control+C)) from there and insert it into the image popup.

Next go back to the forum post page and select the "Insert Image" button. When you are promted for the image URL, press the "Control" button & the "V" button at the same time (Control+V). This will paste the URL into the IMG prompt.

Additionally, you can copy the "BB Image Code:" just below and insert that directly into your post without using the "Insert Image" button. This already has the tags so you do not need to click the "Image Insert" button.

Good luck. If you have any questions, please post them in this thread!
    :)
