a stuck brake cylinder. Is there a shelby or ford part # for this part? It is for a 66 gt 350, #1761. 9 inch rear. Should I get the part from ford or any parts store? Should I be concerned about NOS, date codes, part stampings, etc as I want it to be original.

Assuming the car has the correct wheel cylinder on it now, why not rebuild it yourself...there's nothing easier to rebuild, and a kit costs a couple bucks. Or, take it out and take it to any repair shop and have them put the kit in if you're not comfortable doing it yourself. If it's pitted too bad to seal, they can also be resleeved...check Hemmings under "Brakes".
