    Thanks

    Hi,
Do you have the C4 or C8 emblem? The C4 has much thinner
pins on the back than the C8 and consequently use a different type of nut.
My car 5S275 has the C4 and I have a round washer towards the mesh of the
grill and locked by rectangular spring loaded nuts of the push type.
Of course, there are 4 of each.
    Hope it helps,
    Texas Swede

    Texas Swede,
Thanks for the reply. I have the C4 with the small pins. Can you tell me what size the washers are.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
I just measured the washers on my car #275 but there are
no guarantees they are the original. Anyway they have
1/2" diameter. I bought the NOS C4 in Carlisle about 8 years ago.
Don't remember if I had another C4 or not on the car before
    adding this one.

Yes, as said, I am not sure if the washers shall be there or not.
Looked in some magazines from 1965 with pictures of the grill mesh
and the emblem up front and it looks like there are washers behind
the ones you can see. These cars in the 65 magazines were very early
so it's possible that they didn't use the washers on later cars.
