Did the 65 Shelby, or any of the Shelbys have the trunk filler board in place when SAI/A.O.Smith produced them?
If you are talking about the boards under the trunk mat, behind the drivers side wheel , they were in place when FORD built the cars as Mustangs. If you are talking about other boards, you may need to clarify....specifically which boards and which year.
Thanks, yes are the ones I was talking about, under the mat driver side. Now since the 65 had spare on the shelf did they put one on the passenger side as well? I don't remember seeing any on trunk mounted batteries, but seems like they would, or did they dissolve into nothing because of battery fumes? Thanks for the response, Coralsnake , you have a nice website
I didn't think so. I was wondering if they did because the lug wrench and jack were bungeed by the battery in trunk mounted cars and had the vent tubes from the battery hanging there in the "well" area and the filler board kept them from falling in there. Thanks
