    Greetings!

First-time poster here, so hoping for some pity and patience. :)

I've attached a pic of the build sheet for my soon-to-be-acquired 68 GT500 Fastback #685. I've managed to decipher SOME of the encoding, but lots is still a mystery to me.

Is there a kind soul(s) out there who is willing/able to give me a detailed translation of all this priceless info...?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Bob

    Bob,

Compared to the 3 partials I found in mine, yours is in fantastic shape.

What line item(s) and codes are you having any issue decoding?

    Hi Bill,

Well, how about we start with the bottom half of the sheet? :)

I've attached an annotated copy that shows what I *have* figured out. How about everything else?

In row D, I'm assuming that an 'X' means that that option is present?

    Your decoding looks correct.

1968 Shelby build sheets are all incredibly similar to each other. Very little changes from car to car other than colors, transmissions and ac option.
