In the process of installing the harnesses in 2510.

My first question is about the quick connectors/scotch locks or whatever you want to call them, that SA used to connect their harnesses to the Ford harnesses.
The car is going to be driven and I am concerned about the possibility of corrosion/poor connections using these.
I am considering soldering the connections, coating them with liquid tape, then hollowing out the inside of the connector and snapping it on over the connection so that it looks correct. Should I bother with this or would simply packing the connector with electrical grease suffice?

My other question is where do the ammeter leads and oil line for the gauges come through the firewall? There are 2 pencil size holes just about where the accel bellcrank mounts. There is also a larger hole at the top of the firewall next to where the neutral safety switch/backup light harness come through. PDC_5646.jpg PDC_5647.jpg

    Thanks
