CSX 2436, they say in the auction description was shipped to Shelby in Los Angeles on May 26, 1964, then to Greenwich, Connecticut’s Town & Country Motors a few months later. Total cost with options included: $5,812.They also said it was owned Sy Allen in 1974…now painted black instead of its original Rouge Iris coat. I'm curious who found it, or if the owner's family came to Gooding. I'd hope a barn finder found it and I am sure the story will come out.

    Here's the Yahoo story: https://autos.yahoo.com/news/cobra-barn-could-next-million-dollar-shelby-183036997.html

The pictures on the Yahoo story show a dust covered car that's going to need a little Hyde Food to revitalize the leather.
I think Yahoo saying a million is a bit of a stretch, since the car had a color change, but we'll see next week...
