Carroll Shelby’s legendary 1965 World champions

The original poster is not available at the free market any more. That’s why I have resolved to make this reply at very high level. A German graphic artist has taken over the finished artwork, the poster was also printed in Germany.

Nevertheless, the final product is undervalued with the description “poster” nearly a little bit, because picture printing paper was printed on heavy 250 g / m ² and the whole was provided to the perfect finish at the end with a dispersion varnish. Any more does not go…

This poster is not to be compared with a thin, poor poster you usually get, it’s more a high-quality art reproduction.

The poster is printed with a legal/written permission of the Castrol Oil Company!

The motive, the victorious Cobra Daytona coupe:

    - Motive: CSX 2601 - The Championship Coupé of 1965
    - Driver: Bob Bondurant and Jochen Neerpasch
    - Racing distance: Nuerburgring, 23rd of May, 1965
    - Colors: Guardsman Blue with two white stripes
    - The quickest GT Qualifier 9:18.5 - Bob Bondurant
    - Unhit distance record till 1980!
    - The quickest racing round with 9:22

    The poster of 1965:

    - Printed in 1965 from Castrol to honour of the victorious Cobra Daytona Coupés
    - No longer available at the free market

    The poster of 2013:
    - Poster size DIN-A1 (59.4 x 84.0 cm)
    - heavy 250 g / m ² picture printing paper, matt finish, great haptics
    - Finish by dispersion varnish (optical revaluation and protective function)
    - Limited Edition Print
    - Printed and Made in Germany
