well to change the subject---2011 shelby GT500 at about 4000 miles the rear end started to whine at hyway speeds and would stop when i let off the gas-family ford in netcong nj found both rear axles slightly bent-replacing ring and pinion, axles and bearings--promised to take extra care and put her inside at night and out of the way during the day when not being worked on-as parts were on order--phone call came-someone hit my front bumper -put a 2" abrasion in the paint--the car was perfect before this-now it has to be painted and restriped--hope it at least runs right when it comes back-seems to be a common problem from what i have seen in other forums-but the fix seems to vary from dealer to dealer, not a confidence builder--dont know if replacing with stock parts will prevent the same thing from occurring again--anyone else with the same whine?
