    Hi Randall:

I am unable to add more photos to gallery. It displays the following message:

    "Unable to create image [/home/shelbyforums/public_html/photogallery/uploads/238/lg_maxwell151.jpg].
    Please contact system administrator. "

Am I doing something wrong? I have uploaded images before and no problems until today>

    Juan

Can you upload a different photo? Try a different one and see if you get the same error. If the photo is very large then it could possibly time out but that would only happen if it takes more than 30 seconds of processing. Try another one and let me know how it goes.

I just uploaded a photo without any problems.

    Randall:

I am still getting the same message even though it is a new photo. Take a look at the messages:

Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg(): '/home/shelbyforums/public_html/photogallery/uploads/238/lg_maxwell151.jpg' is not a valid JPEG file in /home/shelbyforums/public_html/photogallery/image-inc.php on line 81

    and

    Unable to create image [/home/shelbyforums/public_html/photogallery/uploads/238/lg_maxwell151.jpg].

I uploaded the photo for you. It is in your member gallery. I'm still not sure why you are getting that error but will let you know when I figure it out.

    Hi Randall:

I am still getting the same message of error for loading images. Also have been trying from 3 different computers and still the same.

I'm working on it Juan. Sorry for the delay but I was out of town yesterday. Hopefully I can get this resolved this afternoon.

Tech support for the photo management software I am using say that this error occurs when someone tries to upload a "gif" image that has been renamed (but not resaved) as a "jpg." Try resaving the image using a photo editing program such as Photoshop. Open the file and click on "File>SaveAs" and save it as a .jpg image.

Also, the image you attached above is not the same one getting the error. The error is for an image named, lg_maxwell151.jpg. The image above is lg_lopez16.jpg. If lg_maxwell151.jpg got uploaded we need to delete it and that could also clear things up.

Update: I have deleted lg_maxwell151.jpg from the server so check and see if that has fixed the problem.
